My name is Andrew Jimmy Nelson and I am the director of I Spy Your Privates. I thrive on projects that present complex challenges and multiple moving parts, and enjoyed being very involved in and learning about every part of this unique hybrid production. This has been a really fun film to work on and I’m really grateful for this crew!

Good evening. My name is Ari Zaritsky. I am the Art Director and Concept Artist for I Spy Your Privates. I designed the art style, characters, props, and environments for the film. I was also responsible for texturing the buildings with decals in Unreal Engine and designing the shots that had a style change. I had an incredible experience mixing between 2D and 3D mediums. I learned a ton and I'm grateful to have worked on this film.

Hi I’m Billy! I was a pre-visualization story artist and Unreal Engine technical director on I Spy Your Privates. In addition, I also helped with 2D cleanup, compositing, and production management. During the preproduction/production process I combined 2D storyboards and Unreal Engine’s sequencer to develop the 3D layouts for our film.
I had a lot of fun figuring out how to make Unreal Engine’s lighting fit our 2D characters during post production with our 3D team.
I learned a lot from these people, and I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned to more films in the future.

Hi! My name’s Elias Rosas and I am the Animation Director for I Spy Your Privates. In addition to animating on the film, I worked closely with the director giving critiques and drawovers to the other animators. I played a major role in helping the animation as a whole stay cohesive and meet a certain level of quality.
Working on a hybrid film like I Spy Your Privates was an exciting and challenging experience. However, it was extremely rewarding to overcome every obstacle thrown our way, making this the most unforgettable collaborative project I’ve ever been a part of.

Hi! I’m Jose and I was the 3D modeler for “I Spy Your Privates.” I had a blast creating a stylized version of San Francisco’s Chinatown, working on everything from buildings and street assets to famous landmarks. I also contributed to animation, texturing, lighting, and compositing. Trying out new software like Unreal Engine 5 and Toon Boom was super exciting and a unique learning experience. It was a great challenge, and I’m grateful to have been part of this film.

Howdy! My name is Madison Smith. I was a 2D Toonboom Rigger and animator on the I Spy Your Privates. I worked on hand rigging the 2D rigs, rough animation, puppet animation, clean up, and helped with compositing. It has been a joy to work on this film with such an amazing and talented group of people, this film was a labor of love. Trying to figure out how to incorporate the 3D with the 2D and make it look blended and lively was a challenge, but I’m so proud of how everything turned out. These rigs were some of the most complex I’ve ever built, having over 50 hands, feet, and sporting a head master controller, and special poses. It was a learning experience but everyone did such an amazing job, I’m very proud of how we were able to capture fluid motion pushing the rig to its limits.

Hello! My name is Max. I was a 2D animator on the I Spy Your Privates Team! I worked on rough animation, puppet animation, and helped with cleanup in Toon Boom Harmony. In post production, I helped with compositing in After Effects. Overall I loved being a part of the ISPY team. I even worked in Unreal Engine for the first time. I had fun working in 3D programs and finding ways to blend my new 3D skills with my 2D knowledge during production. Working on a hybrid film such as this was a great challenge.

Hey, my name is Tal and I was a producer and 2D animator for I Spy Your Privates! I created rough and clean animation for both characters and effects. I helped keep track of and compile materials to be shown for dailies and to be sent out. I also helped out with the storyboarding, color/cleanup, and compositing processes. This was such an amazing learning experience, both for learning how to work on a hybrid pipeline and how to work as a team. I am so grateful to have been a part of this awesome film and can’t wait to see what we all do next!

Hi my name is Sam. I was a 2D animator on I Spy Your Privates. I worked in rough and puppet animation. I really enjoyed working on this film and breaking our puppets rigs like a twig. there are such strong and cool animators and 3D people on our team and they all really inspire me. I cant wait to see what other cool things these amazing people pull off.

My name is Sara Wheat, and I’m an Animation major at SCAD with a concentration in 3D technical animation. Ever since I was a little girl I’ve been in love with computers and art, so combining the two in a career has been a dream come true for me. I love what I do, and I’m the crazy person who loves sitting down and solving a difficult problem or issue (but if you ask me about the “isyp trash can incident” I will talk your ear off for an hour about the cool way I fixed it.) I really enjoyed making this film and learning Unreal Engine and hope to take these skills into working in my passion; videogames.

Hiya! My name is Aidan Jones, and I worked on I Spy Your Privates as the supervising sound editor. I lead a team of five other talented sound designers to develop the different stems of dialogue, sound effects, backgrounds, foley, and then mixing them together to sound cohesive. My favorite experiences I had with this project was being able to express creativity in a collaborative setting where I was able to communicate with not only the sound department, but the animation team to achieve a successful soundtrack throughout the film. In every stem, I was able to develop sounds that amplified the film, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a workflow. I am incredibly proud of not only my sound team and I, but how everyone on the project came together to make an entertaining animation that shows the dedication we have to the things we work on!
